Decorating in Harewood
Leeds Painting Company decorates homes in Harewood and the streets around the estate cottages along the A61, the crossroads with the A659 and the lodges at the park gates. Cottages bring their own challenges: uneven walls, deep window reveals, low beams and old timber that has been painted many times over. Patience and the right materials are what make them look their best.
Many homes in villages like this are in conservation areas or listed, so outside work needs to respect the character of the street. We can use traditional colours and breathable finishes that suit the building.
We begin with a free home visit, look at the walls and woodwork with you, and then send a written quote that sets out exactly what is included. Your home is protected throughout, with dust sheets, masking and extraction on the sanders so dust stays contained.

FAQs
Decorating in Harewood: questions
What paint should I use on an old stone cottage?
Usually a breathable finish such as limewash, mineral or clay paint, so moisture can escape through the walls. We check the walls before recommending a product.
