Common questions
Which areas do you cover?
We cover the whole of Leeds and the surrounding towns and villages, from Otley and Wetherby to Morley, Garforth and Pudsey. Our area pages list more than a hundred places we work.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. We visit, look at the job with you and send a written quote at no cost.
Can I choose my own paint?
Yes. We are happy to work with the brand and colour you have chosen, whether that is Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands or a trade range. We can also recommend products that suit each surface.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes. We move and cover furniture and protect floors before we start. Please clear small and fragile items in advance.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the time of year and the size of the job. We will give you an honest start date when we send the quote.
Do you do both interior and exterior work?
Yes. We decorate inside and out, including masonry, render, timber windows, doors, fascias and metalwork.
Will you repair cracks before painting?
Yes. Filling cracks, making good and preparing surfaces properly is part of every job we quote for.
Do you work at weekends?
For commercial clients we can work evenings and weekends. For homes, we usually work weekdays, but tell us if you need something different.
Do you hang wallpaper?
Yes, including designer, hand-printed and natural papers and large murals. See our wallpaper hanging page for details.
Can you paint my kitchen units?
Yes. We repaint timber, MDF and laminate kitchens by hand or by spray. See our hand-painted kitchens page.
