How we work
What happens on every job, from the first visit to the final walk round.

Visit and quote
We visit, look at every room or elevation with you, and send a written quote listing what is included: preparation, repairs, number of coats and products.
- 02
Protection
Floors are covered edge to edge with dust sheets and protective film where needed. Furniture is moved and sheeted. Switches, sockets and fittings are masked or removed.
- 03
Dust control
Sanding is done with dust-extracted sanders wherever possible, so fine dust is captured rather than settling through the house.
- 04
Filling and repairs
Cracks are raked out and filled, deeper holes filled twice, and every repair is sanded flush so it disappears under the paint.

Priming and sealing
Bare plaster gets a mist coat, bare timber is primed, knots are sealed and water or smoke stains are blocked so they do not bleed through.

Finish coats
Walls and ceilings get at least two full finish coats. Woodwork gets an undercoat where needed and is rubbed down between coats for a smooth sheen.

Lines
Ceiling lines, wall-to-woodwork edges and colour changes are cut in by hand for clean, straight lines.

Each day
Rooms are tidied at the end of each day, brushes and rollers cleaned off site or in agreed areas, and access kept clear.

Walk round
When the work is finished, we walk round with you in good light and put right anything that is not as it should be.
