Decorating in Pool-in-Wharfedale
Leeds Painting Company decorates homes in Pool-in-Wharfedale and the streets around Main Street, Pool Bank and the cottages down by the river bridge. Older stone houses here were built with lime mortar and plaster that need to breathe. We check what the walls are made of before choosing a paint, because the wrong finish can trap moisture and cause damp.
Cottages bring their own challenges: uneven walls, deep window reveals, low beams and old timber that has been painted many times over. Patience and the right materials are what make them look their best.
We begin with a free home visit, look at the walls and woodwork with you, and then send a written quote that sets out exactly what is included. Floors are covered edge to edge, furniture is moved and sheeted, and sanding runs through dust extraction.
Send us a few details below and we will call to book a visit in Pool-in-Wharfedale.
